Silvia worked for ten years as a journalist in Miami and New York, for Univision, the leading Hispanic Media Corporation in the United States, and Terra Networks, with great presence in the United States, Latin America and Spain.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Journalistic, Institutional and Business Communication from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico.
Her great passion is traveling around the world, which has sparked her creativity and initiative for the creation of businesses related to tourism and destination marketing, among which Tripdreaming.
Thanks to her international experience, after having lived in several countries (Mexico, United States, Italy, Argentina and Spain) and frequent travels around the world, she has created the blog La Trotamundos based on her experiences as a traveler, where she writes articles about travel and lifestyle.
Living in multicultural cities has been the most rewarding experience of my life, it has allowed me to be more open to other cultures and think outside of the box.
